ULTRASOUND VIDEO THUMBNAIL USE

Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive and painless imaging service that uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of organs, soft tissues and blood flow within the body. It is commonly used to assess the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, muscles, joints, blood vessels and pregnancy-related concerns. Ultrasound does not use radiation, making it suitable for patients of all ages. The procedure usually takes between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the area being examined. In some cases, specific preparation may be required, such as fasting or arriving with a full bladder. Our experienced imaging team will explain each step, help you feel comfortable and ensure the process is as smooth and reassuring as possible.

Our experienced imaging team will guide you through every stage of your ultrasound, explain what to expect and ensure you are positioned comfortably throughout the examination. We understand that medical imaging can sometimes feel unfamiliar, so we take the time to answer your questions and help you feel at ease. A small amount of gel will be applied to the skin, and a handheld device will be gently moved over the area being examined. With a patient-focused approach and modern imaging technology, we aim to make your appointment efficient, comfortable and reassuring from arrival through to completion.
